In order for children to learn God’s truths and how they apply to everyday life, it helps them to hear stories about others who have lived victoriously by listening to God’s word. When hearing stories of real people it helps them to relate and understand.
In our history studies we include as many biographies and historical fiction stories as possible to help the children grasp the times, people, situations, and emotions of the time period and events. This is one way we combine character building, literature, and history.
